TYM T300 HST Electrical Problem

Just want to start by expressing my appreciation for this forum and its very helpful members.
I've spent much time researching many things here. Its a great place to learn!

I have had this T300 for 10 years or so and have experienced having a very reliable tractor with just few repairs.
So now I have my first set back. I turned the key to turn on the glow plugs and nothing happened but noise out of the glow relay
located above the battery and maybe something behind key panel made a noise. This noise seems to end at about
the same length of time it normally takes for the glow plug cycle. No lights on the panel come on and when u try to start it there is no response.

Years ago (250 hours ago) I spoke with a TYM knowledgeable guy (no longer with us) that mentioned that TYM T300 had a wire harness problem and that it should be
changed to avoid it from failing and also burning out a controller if it ever did fail. I Asked my local dealer about this and he wasn't
aware of any such problems. He's a new TYM dealership so I can understand if it's just a miss. So I stopped trying to pursue the harness upgrade,
thinking it might not be accurate info. I'm thinking that might of been a mistake.

Now I go back to my local dealer, He made several calls to try and help me but wasn't able to do so.
I brought the noisy glow relay to him and it didnt match his relay part number call or any part numbers listed. We compared
the new relay to my old one and the electrical plugs are different.

Is anyone able to help me figure out how to get back up and running.

On the smaller tractors chafed wiring is a problem. Caused by the wiring harness rubbing on the frame below the dash. Also on the small tractors there are 2 large amp fuses taped to the wiring harness under the dash panel. I had a 40 amp blow and the tractor was dead. Could be the same on your model. Good luck with it.

Update on T300 electrical issue.
It took a week or so for TYM to get back to the
dealer with the recall upgrade kit info.
One week for me to pic up and install the upgrade kit.
All is good, T300 back in service.

recall kit for a tractor in service for 10 years? That must speak for TYM and their Quality Matters slogan. Wonder if TYM will ever communicate "recalls" to their customers. Anyway, I'm happy for you that you are up and running again and can enjoy a tractor that has provided good service for a looong time.
