I have a 2006 sub compact. i have replaced the barking brake rod and now it needs to be replaced again any solutions?

Welcome to TBN, sorry I don't have an answer for your question, but maybe someone else who has the same model as you will.

Why did you have to replace the first one? Did it bend? And did the same failure happen to the second one?

No, there is a 1"x1" piece of metal, about 1/4" thick. Where it hits the Brake notch, it keeps wearing away.
