First thing I'd do is get a hold of Star Fleet Command so they can send cap. Kirk to investigate the situation> after I shoot at it, I like moving targets.

Zech. 5>1 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

after I shoot at it, I like moving targets.

(Once again, the L.A.P.D. is asking Los Angelenos not to fire their guns at the visitor spacecraft. You may inadvertently trigger an interstellar war.)

line from the original Independence Day movie:D

In my lifetime I've saw at least 40 UFOs. A couple very similar to this one. Intriguing. Thought provoking. Another of those things in life that makes you go Hmmmmmmm.......

But that's just it, it didn't make any noise.

I watch the sky all the time. Not because I'm paranoid, just cause you see such interesting things. Here in Missouri, given the proper air conditions, it's not unusual to see aircraft at relatively close proximity making no noise. Logical proximity being the key. For example, I am in an often used flight path for the Gigantic Air Force C17 cargo planes. If you detect an approaching craft you can see them in the sky for probably 10 minutes. They always produce a gigantic contrail. When directly overhead you can clearly see the plane. They never make a sound. Proximity again. They aren't as close as it appears. Twice I've saw a 747 carrying the Space Shuttle. Same deal. Great view. No noise.

I was heading into town on night back in the Spring. Noticed some slow moving lights in the sky - could definitely tell they weren't aircraft (no red/green marker lights or strobes). They were heading over towards my place (I was already about 3 miles away) so I called Sweetie to have her go out in the yard to look at them.

I ended up pulling over and getting out of my Jeep to take a look at them as they went by. Turns out they were "flying luminaries" - basically large paper kites with a candle inside them. There must have been some sort of memorial service where they released them.

Definitely freaked me out for a couple of minutes though!!

Had a 4th of July party at my farm. Wind gently out of the East. Interstate 35 is 3 miles West. Grandkids set off 4 of those. Sheriff showed up and laughingly asked if we were done launching those. They had four 911 calls from travelers on the hiway saying they just saw a huge UFO. :D

One thing to be careful about those things is that drip a lot of fire out of the bottom when launched. You shouldn't launch them in dry conditions as they could start fires. They are kind of neat for such a simple thing.

Just a miniature Hot Air Balloon. :)

That would have been pretty cool to see the space shuttle being, shuttled around like that!

I've seen a few UFOs
One time in daylight was a bright green streak in the sky diagonaling to the horizon. I ran towards the end of the house to try and keep it in view, right smack dab into one of those half barrel flowerpots. Another was pretty neat, late sunset, turned out to be a formation of helicopters flying toward me, then turning to the left and landing, one after another.

Just a miniature Hot Air Balloon. :)

We launched on a couple of 4ths ago and it dripped a lot of hot tar like substance out when first lit. I was amazed how long it burned and how far it went. It must have floated several miles over a period of time. Kinda neat to watch.
