Here's a nice picture I took on a lovely drive to Pittsburgh last summer. I normally don't condone cell phone usage while driving, but I couldn't resist.....

HINT: Look in the mirror.... we just drove out of that... driving into it from the backside we couldn't see a thing. Driving towards it on the front side, all the traffic was stopped waiting.

Just to add to the discussion I saw a REAL UFO once in my teenage years. Two friends and I were walking to go to a go-kart track and saw a large saucer shaped craft hovering in the sky. It clearly had a dome top with multi colored lights spinning around on it. It hovered in place for a while then darted upward. It went to an altitude that made its appearance one tenth or smaller in size in a second. It hovered at that spot a little then darted out of sight.

I will just say a couple of things. I am 62, and I have never seen a UFO. Or at least something I could not explain given half a chance. I have also never seen a tornado in real time. I sure have seen the after effects of those though. I will also say given how big even just our galaxy is, and the number of stars and planets, it would seem incredible to me that there could not be life or even intelligent life out there. I have no proof of that of course. But my gut feeling is that there is more than just "us".
All of that said... I have not seen any craft or LGM's. I will let you all know if anything changes.

James, ever notice how much difference there is in us humans or even flora/fauna, depending on where you go on this planet?? The differences are incredible aren't they!!!!! Now imagine life forms from another planet.......... Don't expect them to be sporting the latest fashion or flying the latest craft as we know them.

Good memory for a 20 year old movie, you must own it. So far for a UFO creature feature movie, I like the movie Battleship the best, the UFO didn't stay UFO very long and one of my favorite line's in that movie is, "who's communicating what with who" favorite scene is the USS Missouri firing the big guns, I turn the surround sound up on that

Yeah that was a good flick. :) Just released is a new alien invasion movie called Arrival. It's getting good reviews and is not the typical they-want-to-eat-us plot.

We had the riot act read to us at work to quit joking around and stop doing stuff that made the public call in UFO reports .

You have a point. There is quite a bit of difference between a human and a bull calf. Yet we share many genes. It could be if intelligent life came and visited us, we might not even recognize that it was intelligent life. You could bet your bottom dollar, it would not be some human variation on a theme like a Star Trek Vulcan or something even closer like a Bjoran with just a tiny nose wrinkle difference between them and us. Heck they might look like a sunflower with arms..

"Not to mention I live in the woods and can't see anything coming anyway." <<<<You oughta see the Red Cross, they could help you with that, or or do you like swinging from tree to tree with Jane............

Yep. We may be visited daily. We may have all seen UFOs and Aliens. :)

He** our society is so self centered and needy I don't think we could handle contact.

It would be a major violation of the "prime directive", as we sure don't seem to be ready for it. I think I could handle it, but it takes a lot to astound us old Missouri boys!:)
