Hey when you are growing grapes that take three bites each to eat who cares about power? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

On the other hand, it is almost desert where I live so all I have is my pride in the power of m B7800. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I've got 100's of photos of the farm on disk. I change out the photo page on our U-Pick farm website pretty often so I'm always taking pictures. I'll post some more from time to time but I've got to hit the hay so I'll leave you with one more of some blackberries we grow.

Ramon, I really do hope you get it worked out. Life's too short to stay that upset for long.

On a lighter note, I grow muscadines and what I'd really like to see one day is a trailer load of grapes as big as these huge ones we grew last year. I wouldn't mind my engine stalling from a load like that. )

Amazing. You folks can grow amazing things but I'd never guessed you could grow a golf ball!

( Mine also seemed to be one of the few on this list that won't pick the front end up with the loader arms. It will curling the bucket down, but It barely comes off the ground 1" when using the arms.
That is one of the problems that shows up when using UDT instead of Super UDT. Do you know what oil your tractor has in it? )

No I don't, but I'll find out today. What's the difference, Ron? I take it they come with different fluids from different dealers?

UDT vs Super shouldn't make a difference. Depending on the type and inflation of tires, the lift you can get is different. Just park the front tires on something high and see how low the loader can go.

Sometimes the culprit is air in the cylinders. The machine we use has lots of air on that side of the cylinders, haven't bothered bleeding because it gives some float even when the joystick isn't in the float position.

It will lift but I have to lower the bucket for 20 seconds or so with the engine reved up.

All Kubota's come from factory with Super UDT. Since you live in PA. 50 hour service should have Super UDT put back in.
Here is the latest thread on Super UDT. Click Here.

I just spoke with the dealer and he said all new tractors use the super, doesn't make a difference on climate, but he wasn't sure what my old B7500 used. I was wondering what I'm going to do with the 4-1/2 gallons of hydraulic fluid I've had sitting around if it isn't the super udt ... give it to the neighbor I guess.

Hmm, thats interesting. The Super UDT does have a different smell then UDT. When I did my 100 hours hydraulic oil change, I went UDT. I'm now doing my 400 hour and going Chevron THF AW, a full synthetic that matches or exceeds Super UDT for a little less cost. I got to thinking that more then any tractor, the HST lives and breathes on the hydraulic fluid. I'll spend the few extra dollars. When 800 comes around I may change to another type.
