George,
My garage only has a 8' tall door so I had to take the ROPS off of the Unimog to get it in. My shop is not as cluttered as Brad's, but its getting there! Speaking of Brad, I have to give him a call. I have a few questions to ask him about the truck. I'll wait until I have a short list before calling. I don't want to bug him too much. Tell him thanks again and that I said hello. Von

Tom, that is the battery that was given to me by a buddy of mine. I think it has a bad cell, as it won't hold a charge over the course of a week. So I use it in the Zamboni. Works in a pinch in the Mog as well, but still have to use the battery charger with it as well to get the Mog started. The starter is 4hp.

Von,

You have to stop posting these pictures! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I can’t stand this jealous feeling I keep getting when I visit TBN in the morning now!

I keep drooling and that doesn’t make the coffee taste any better either.

Sure glad the wife is away visiting her family so she can’t see this. It is quite embarrassing!

I just don’t know what I am going to do... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Mog-craving is something I have had for a while, but this Mog-envy emotion is new to me and hard to deal with. It is almost physical; I feel it most in my stomach. Like a different kind of hunger that bread and brew cannot satisfy.

I have a feeling I am not alone in this. I am just weaker and the first to admit it. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

The more fun you have in this project, the more some of us here are going to be hurting! Actually that hurt is starting to take me to a new level. It is starting to feel good!

Enjoy the project and Mog ownership. The more fun you have in this, the more the rest of us will too. Once we learn to live with the pain of Mog-envy. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Bill, I just came in for lunch after rolling the lawn and working on the Unimog! Its great to have a nice day off for a change. Temps in the low 70s. If you ever want to get your hands dirty, I'm only 5 hours away! You bring the beer and you can do all the work you want on it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'll just drink and hand you the tools /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Well I'm done with lunch, so its time to give the Mog a good pressure washing before seeing if it will now fit into the garage! I'll try and stop all this play.....I mean work, to take some more photos. Von

Here are a few photos of the back frame after a good pressure washing. Was able to even remove what was left of the Zebart undercoating.

Here is a shot of the motor, its a 5.7L that is puting out 94hp. I can turn up the hp to 130hp by turning a few screws on the injector pump! will boost it up to about 110 at first and see if it needs any more after running it awile. Oh, and it purrs like a kitten now! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
