Got a chance to mow about 2 acres last evening. I was originally having the issue where the deck drops when lowering or when running over rough terrain. Dealer came out last week to repair (Messicks). Whatever Les did was the ticket! The control knob has basically zero play in it. It feels solid as a rock. It is a bit more difficult to turn, but that is the way I like it. There is no apparent movement in the cam underneath the deck.

Soooooo..... Bottom line is that this thing is working perfectly. For those of you asking about mowing quality, I say this thing is at least as good as my JD X520 and possibly even better. It sure is a much more enjoyable experience.... Especially with power steering which I never had before.

Only thing I don't like is that it takes me about 30-40 minutes less time to mow.... Ooops.... Isn't that why I bought it... To save time?

Glad to hear you got everything worked out. Any idea what they did to take the play out of the knob? My 2320 is a little loose.

We bought a BX2660 so it wouldn't take us so much time to mow our property and the result was that my wife just mows more stuff including a pond levy I use to mow with our L5030.
