I'm willing to chip in to help pay for a bus ticket to send you to their U.S. headquarters. Anyone else willing to chip in?

P.S. If you think I'm only kidding, you don't know me. ;)
OK now I'm just wondering, if people post that they are willing to help pay for Ed's ticket on Greyhound, and they post accordingly, will those posts be considered to be posts that TBDonnelly considers as pertaining substance to this thread or will they be posts that are considered to be from the peanut gallery
Please don't take this post as a comment in any way, it is simply a question of clarification of the new rules that forbid good natured humor and light hearted banter.

Bus? No way, I want a DK45S with heated cab and an iPod. Then I'll make the trip.
Ed, your request for the iPod is denied. That request was obviously unreasonable. As for the mode of transportation, it could be debated (but probably in a different thread :p ) and if enough money is gathered based on Dargo's post then it could be negotiated.

Don't ask for much do you?:D

Out of curiosity...am I in the gallery or somewhere in the middle since I don't have a Kioti, but.....

Good point. I have traded tractors, swapped things, and even stepped up and bought a new 2006 tractor. Now that I think about it, I'm sure that nobody here on TBN now knows exactly what tractors I own. Even if you had a proper inventory 3 months ago, you'd be far, far off now.

And, yes, they are most certainly from different manufacturers.

rback33: I am so happy, I am finally older than someone on TBN, if only by several months.

It would be very unfortunate if the Kioti contact who most all of us have been dealing with was somehow removed from the position and all records/deals/promises were lost. I am hoping that she stays in place to finish this one up.

I would think that it would be easier for that contact to regurgitate the "please be patient" line via email response than over the phone where that response will be met with more pointed questions.

Thanks for asking Ed.

I think she will be there for a while. I doubt she goes anywhere, I just wish she could give you guys a "real" answer.

There needs to be no negotiating on the iPod. I will make it my donation to the trip.
Anybody know how far it is from RI to Kioti headquarters.

695 miles. Long enough that I will hold out for the 80gigabyte iPOD and to inquire if Kioti makes a sleeper cab version of the DK45S. Or maybe I'll just pull a camping tailer.

I may need to set up a marathon style support team to hand me food as I trundle down 95.;)

.

Or they could just leave a voicemail.

By the way, they have not responded to the email inquiry yet but their website states it may take up to a week.

I sure hope that DK45S has an air suspension seat. 695miles at 17 mph would be around 40 hrs of seat time. Maybe I'll take a bush hog along and clean up the median strip along the way.

I'm tellin' ya, since you've been so diplomatic in a frustrating situation, I can start a fund drive to get you sent down to visit them. I'd be really curious how they would respond if you politely just stayed there until someone gave you some sort of response about the issue. It should be an easy enough proposition since you're not asking them to fix yours immediately, on the spot, without regard to the logistics etc. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that you, at this point, are simply trying to find out what their course of action is going to be and possibly an estimate on when to expect a fix to be released. Right?

80 GB  I was thinking something around 1 GB. :p
I sure hope you get this loader repaired soon. I think it may be cheaper if we all chipped in to install the new model loader on your tractor. There is still the bus trip offer from Dargo. :D
