On my BX-25D I filled the lower part of the ROPS with foam. There was a very noticeable difference in noise coming through. Today I took the top part off and filled it. Will update when it sets in a few days. So far it is a plus to reduce the noise.........JB.

We'll need a tutorial on exactly how you did this ya know! Did you drill new holes? Did you go through existing ones...pray tell! :)

Did not need to drill any holes as the bar is open where the swivel joint is. Used the red foam and to do the top part I took the bar off and turned it upside down and filled it up. Took 2 cans......JB.

Nice idea JB. May try that one as well.

Can I assume from your forum name that your ride a Valkyrie? I have one and absolutely love it.

Phil, I just came up from digging up a 36" locust stump from the back and after the foam in the bar I can say that it really helped keeping the noise down. I had to give up riding a few years ago and did have a Cream and Yellow Standard and an Interstate trike. Hated to see them go but they were just sitting here..........JB.
