( It was said above you could buy the
BX2200 and it was same as
BX23 without BH... This is not true. The
BX2200 has an entirely different chassis frame design that is much less robust, and will NOT take a backhoe later.)
He didn't say
BX2200, he said
BX2230. In any case, there are now around 5 people on this board who have bought a Woods BH6000 and placed it on either a
BX2200 or
BX2230. They have all reported outstanding results with the one small inconvenience of smaller ROPS. Other than that, not one has had anything negative to say about this backhoe. The frame issue was addressed and there appears to be no problem. All this has been discussed in exhaustive detail. You may wish to search the archives and read for yourself. One guy even has a
BX1500 with a BH6000 on it. He posted numerous photos of the impressive results this combination accomplished. I was dubious at first as well, but all these reports and photos have convinced me that the BH6000 is a first class implement which will work exceptionally well on ANY BX.
Wood_Butcher_Dav: It's NOT possible to get a
BX23 without BH and FEL.
My local Kubota dealer's bottom line quote to put a BH6000 on my
BX2200: $4975.
