Anyone buy / use any of their attachments? I would be curious what your experiences have been. I am looking at a hydraulic broom and an auger.

I see their attachments on sale on ebay, and Craigslist, but oddly, I can't seem to find any users using them or commenting on them. I was hoping someone here might have used them. Their attachments look like clones of other Chinese attachments, but I can't seem to find an exact match. The website has a blurb that says they are a family run business, and "Each of our hand-made attachments is crafted from the highest quality American steel and built to last." I would observe that it doesn't actually say made in the US of A, which got me wondering.

The website, usawolverine.com, lists a variety of attachments, but they all look like computer renderings of attachments to my eye. They are listed as being in Brighton, CO, but again the image of the building on the website looks like computer graphics to me, and it doesn't match the street view from Google maps street view, which is a two story mixed use office complex. And yes, there is no record of a business of that name in Colorado, nor at the address listed. Their email is a @hotmail.com email. The BBB says that they are not a member and due to one unresolved complaint from four years ago they have a D+ rating, which seems a little harsh, but the complaint isn't listed.

So, I am curious how close to vaporware they are...

All the best,

Peter

That has got to be the crappiest website I've ever seen. I have always supposed wolverine skid steer stuff was Chinese. The local ag auction house sells these. The auger drive with 12 and 18" augers generally sells at about $2500. For that price I'd rather buy something more known that I could get parts for.

I know that this post is a little old, but in my experience any attachment that is shipped in a steel crate probably came from China, Many of these are sold by the hundreds at auctions. Anything I have bought made in the USA was shipped on a wooden pallet. Usually the company will stress where they are made if in the US, and I generally call and ask a lot of questions first because some companies may make some attachments, while importing others.

To close out my half of the story, I did buy the sweeper, and it worked just fine for the project that I wanted it for (a days work cleaning residual clay off of asphalt.) I had hoped to use it on some other uses here, but that hasn't panned out.

No complaints on the no-name build quality, though figuring out some of the fittings were BSPT took awhile.

All the best,

Peter
