Used 1430 or 1845

I've been thinking for a while about upgrading to something a little bigger than the 425. When I first bought the 425, I envisioned using it primarily as a lawn mower with the ability to do a few other tasks occasionally. Instead, I have tackled a host of new projects that would benefit from a few more HPs. Also, I want to stick with Power-Trac since I like the basic design so much. Therefore, if anyone comes across a nice used 1430 or 1845, please let me know by sending a private message or replying to this post. I'm in no big hurry but will probably want to move on something by the end of the summer. TX.

Uncle! Tom's a great neighbor, and used his PT to cut my lawn while I waited almost 2 months for the BX. I just couldn't resist teasing him. --- Wayne

Hello,

I have also been thinking about upgrading. I have a PT-1430 which I bought new 5 years ago. I have used it at my personal residence for mowing the lawn and landscaping. I have a 72" finish mower, a 60" rough cut mower, a large bucket, and a post hole digger with 12" augers. The machine has about 600 hours on it and is in good shape with all of the service done to it. It has always been garage kept. How much would you be willing to pay? I would consider dropping it off on my way down to pick up a new PT-2445.
