Used #46 Backhoe maintenance question

I was thinking about some of this split plastic from TSC Conduct-Tite Wire Conduit, Flex Split, Black, 3/8 in. x 5 ft. - 1041627 | Tractor Supply Company and still looking for some soft material to apply around the opening in the frame where the hoses pass through.

DHH (Discount Hydraulic Hose) sell different hose protection products by the foot...spiral wrap and nylon covering both work well, sorry I can't provide a link at this time.
