Used B7400 Value

I'm the original owner of a Kubota B7400 with 380 hrs. on it: 4WD Hydrostatic with a Bush-hog brand Front end Loader, a 60" pull behind finish mower, a 48" Bush-hog brand rotary cutter, and a 48" box blade. The tractor and finish mower have been garage kept since new. What is it worth? I was planning to ask $8000 for everything. Does that sound reasonable?

Seems like a good deal to me. Can you tell me how you do without power steering? I need to buy a small tractor with fel and mower. My wife is small and does a good bit of the mowing and I'm wondering if it would wear her arms out driving around the trees in the yard.

If you have a lot of stuff to mow around your wife might wish you had gotten power steering. I have no problem with it, and the only time it is an issue for me is if I have a heavy load in the FEL that I'm manuvering in a tight spot. For general mowing it's not much worse than the little John Deere riding mower my wife uses occasionally.

I just bought a B7400HSD and was warned about the lack of power steering, but honestly I haven't needed or wanted it yet. Haven't yet loaded the FEL with anything super heavy, but for mowing with the Bush Hog and light loader work it steers so easy that it wouldn't occur to me to want it any different. My 13-year-old son has done all of the above also and has no complaints about steering. I would guess that as long as your wife isn't ultra petite she wouldn't have any problem mowing.
