Anybody else use their naa,600,800 etc for wood hauling. This site sent a message about a thread on handling firewood a while back and I didn't see many carryalls behind tractors. Are most using trailers?

Thanks ,that's my 660. It takes a good pic, but she has some wear and tear on the paint job. It's one of those 20' tractors. Looks great 20' away LOL. About 16 yrs old on the gray and 6-7 on the red. Do you have any pics of your 660?

I use some of my ford tractors for skidding, moving, hauling, cutting, and splitting firewood. Photos of my 4000 light industrial, 950 with ferguson cord wood saw, 4000 one arm loader,640 with unicorn pto splitter, and my 400 HD forklift. I have a timber farm and burn wood for heat.

Thanks Cvans and your welcome. Kirk, that's some great equipment you have there. Do you run ballast in the rear tires of the 950 along the pie weights? And if you wouldn't mind, could I see a pic of the unicorn splitter? Does it do pretty good? I'm going to see about getting a woodsplitter before next season and need some input on this. jim

Wow Kirk, nice collection.
Years ago my father in-law had on of those screw splitters on the pto of his IHC H. I really liked using that thing. If my back wasn't all messed up and I could still cut wood I would definitely have one.

I don't run ballast in the tires because I use the 950 for tractor pulls. Here's a shot of the unicorn that my friend Mike has on his tractor. Mine is off the tractor and burried in the barn.
