Using dyed diesel in a pickup truck

the fact that it is an on-road vehicle opens up the possibility that it could be operated on the road with the red fuel in it.
If I am the judge in this case, and the truck is on the owner's land, I'm going to want to know why said truck has a license plate if it is only going to be used off-road. There would have to be a really plausible explanation or I am going to rule "illegal" in situation A as well.

Isn't this the same as saying you're shooting people because you have a gun??

( So how can they tell if a pick up that drives right on by without stopping is a diesel or not? )

You mean besides the ear-piercing turbo whistle with an undertone of rattling similar to a can of rocks? Maybe they look for the 6" exhaust pipe with black smoke billowing out of it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It could have also been the fact that the manufacturers are so proud of them that they put DIESEL plaques on 3 sides of the truck.

My view out my living room window straight to the highway running across in front of my place is only a distance of about 75 to 100 feet.
No way can you set in front of the window and see or hear these things
from vehicles driving by.
The only exception to this is if the driver is accelerating you can hear the clatter of a diesel engine .
