I had similar requirements and had the need to carry 4 people from time to time so I went this route.... My big thing was ability to access steep and rough areas from time to time as not everything is close to our roads.

I have really enjoyed and come to depend upon my Linhai Bighorn 28 UTV. About the only thing I would add is power steering for when I'm first getting going. Once rolling it isn't needed but since I'm often on a slight hill it would sure come in handy. With Hi and Lo ranges and flip switch 4wd it pretty well goes anywhere I wish to get.

When I first heard of power steering for UTV's I thought who needs it. Now that I have had it I LOVE it, the lack of bump steer alone is worth the money!

Just picked up a low hr Gator 620i ... Top speed in low is 17mph, high is 30mph. 23 horse Kawasaki gasser. Box size is roughly 44" x 49", 1400 lbs payload, 1300 lbs towing.

Looks like a good work vehicle. Good cargo bed size compared to the rest of the industry.

New pricing on the (new model) Gator 625i would be $10,700, plus $750'ish to add the hydraulic dump bed.

I picked up a used 2000 mule 2500 at an auction a few months ago with 1700hrs. It has surpassed my expectations in every way. It's only 2wd but will still go more places than my truck and while my tractor can go more places than the mule it tears up the ground more in wet conditions.
