V1903 turbo?

You might want to look at the V2003 which kubota turbo's and use that one. The only difficulty might be in the block is not ported for a turbo which makes the install more difficult. As for intercooling, with the low boost pressures Kubota runs it makes intercooling not really necessary. You will likely want to bump up fuel rate a little.

The V2003 is .1L larger than my V1903 and uses a MHI TD03-7g. The V2203 is .3L larger but some say the IHI RHF4 spools up too soon, suggesting that it might be a good fit, too. By "ported" do you mean for water / oil lines to cool the turbo? Can the stock fuel pump be turned up to eleven? ;)

Yes you need an oil pressure port which is not a problem but you also need a drain for the turbo. Some engines will have it but yours may not in which case it requires some fabrication. Water lines are not needed. The fuel pump can be turned up enough to satisfy your needs unless you are going to use it as a dragster.

Has anyone here turbocharged their V1903? Would you suggest an IHI RHF4 or a MHI TD03? Intercooler? Fuel mods? 03 Turbo Exhaust Manifold

Out of those two choices I would go with the MHI TD03 with no intercooler. I would add a boost an exhaust temperature gauge to help you dial it in after install, the gauges will tell you how much to increase the fueling to get the most out of the turbo.

The TD03-7T (49131-02030) turbo can be had for less than $300 shipped. I'm surprised it has only oil lines since the TD04-13G turbos on my car also have water lines. It would interfere with the fuel tank if mounted to the turbo manifold but should fit if mounted to the stock manifold (with an adapter plate). It should be straightforward to route the intake hoses and exhaust pipe (to a smaller muffler). There should be room for an oil cooler, too.

They use water cooling on gas engines but not on diesels unless its super modified tractor pull. Your engine should have an oil cooler integrated into the oil filter base.

Disregard last comment as your engine does not have an oil cooler.
