Chipper Valby CH/SH250

   / Valby CH/SH250 #11
A quality chipper is truly a great implement. The "no lifting" part will really come into play when you are into your fourth hour of chipping and beyond. I chip un-limbed pine trees and after dragging the tree out of the brush - that final lifting up to the intake chute gets to be a real back breaker.
If you ever start dragging trees to the chipper fully limbed, I would block the chipper up off the ground, on 4x4's, just to give the crud collected from dragging a chance to fall off rather than be dragged into the chipper. By being very careful of what goes into the chipper of mine - I've gone 5 years without sharpening or turning the chipping blades. I chip 500-750 small(less than 4") pine trees every year, keeping my stands thinned.

Now your only concern is - what to do with all the chips. Enjoy!!
