veggi oil in the fuel

Why not fry a turkey with it or french fries?

the overall age of the oil left questions hanging.... how long till it goes rancid? what is the shelf life of veggi oil for use as a cooking product? what is the shelf life of the vegi oil that is left in the container after you use teh first gal out of a 4 gal container and the remainder sits for 3....4.... perhaps 5 years?

Im surprised by the lack of positive responses given the nature of bio-diesel and the reports of many old diesel engines (think 80's Mercedes) that have been known to run straight filtered WVO.....

Yea thats many old deisels like the old mercedes or GM ones. I would not put it in a tractor like you have pictured in your avatar. Those old engines would pretty much run most anything. Go ahead if you have an 80's mercedes or the old GM oil burner and pour it in heck i prolly would but no way id do it in my newer truck or tractor. The newer engines run higher pressures and have different style injectors i imagine.

Think of it this way how much did your tractor cost, how much is your 1982 mercedes 240D worth, if you blow the mercedes your out a few K max if you blow the tractor you will cry.
