Ventrac finish deck pitch?

I have single wheels and love it. Not bumpy unless your yard area is really bad. Using 4 extra wheels are for hill mowing.

Make sure you get the hydraulic tilt deck on your mower. Your back will thank thee for it.

Thank you. We spec'd it with the hydro lift, 72" finish deck, dual wheels, power bucket and power rake. Might add the 3 point as I do have some implements from another tractor that might be useful.

Yep. The main reason I'm buying this is we mow 2 acres that has a side hill and is usually quite wet until late June. My commercial ZT get buried and ruts up the yard...the 40 HP Kioti makes a mess so hoping I can consolidate to a Ventrac and do most of what I need with one machine and not tear up the yard.

You might get something from the following video:

A wet hillside is going to be problematic even for a Ventrac, depending on the steepness of the slope. I mow a 30° slope. In dry conditions that is not a problem with the lighter Tough Cut mower (360 lbs). I have had the wheels spin going uphill with the heavier 72" Flail mower (710 lbs). All-terrain tires, dual wheels.

If you scan back through the older threads in the Ventrac forum you'll probably find someone who compared the ride quality vs a zero-turn on the same terrain.

The slope isn't wet. We have a slope AND wet areas, but the 2 are not combined.

I did search using terms like bumpy, ride, ride quality, etc. The dealer is going to drop off a unit for me to try on my yard so I'll learn first hand. Thank you.

They're all pretty good about a demo around here. If you're going to drop 40-50K on a machine, they'd better be good! :p
