Very sad day

My best friend and 35 year companion died today. My wife fought ALS for five years and was lively up until yesterday. She said she was tired, went to sleep yesterday evening, and passed today. I was able to have a priest give her last rites late last night and she was happy to see him. Going forward, everything is a fog for me now. We’ve known that her disease was terminal, but still it hits hard.

Thank you. My sons and daughter in law don’t live nearby, but are here. And we have lots of neighbors and local friends. She was well known and liked in our small community.
