Very much appreciate the sentiment. As a lot of us know, Vet's day is really another memorial day, as are most days.
Our youth need to appreciate days like this more. They, like myself when young, don't truly realize what has/is taken place. I kinda caused a whole lot of silence in the High School the other day, when I reminded them that the "kids" (not kids anymore ) suffering and dying in the present conflict, are just like them and only a year or two older. Some surely graduated last year.
"WAR - Old men sending young men to die."
