Has anyone built one? I have several projects coming up that I could use one on. I was thinking of a steel plate with either a hydraulic or electric motor driving an offset weighted shaft mounted in pillow block bearings. I want something that could be mounted to either the BX22 backhoe or loader bucket. Questions I have is: How much "out of balance" weight to use? Is 1725 RPM motor going to be too fast if I go electric?
Ideas for another set of hydraulic to run an orbit motor on the BX? I have all the materials except the pillow block bearings, shaft and weights and chain or belt to drive it with. I have a 540 RPM pto mount pump that could possibly be hooked to the mid pto with adapters and shaft. I was thinking of about 18" square of 3/4" plate for the base. Any thoughts?
