Vickers V200 hydraulic pump ?

I picked this up today in a box of stuff for sale.
From the code on it I think it's a 5gpm pump rated at 1200 rpm.

What size gas engine would be best to use with this?

Would it make a good candidate for a wood splitter or towable backhoe project or crankshaft/belt hydraulics on my old 2N?

Is it marked as to what direction it turns, clockwise or counter clockwise. Most log splitters are 11 to 16 gallon a minute and are two stage, fast with no load . I am thinking snow plow,power steering, dump bed, conveyor, winch.

I'll have to look but I did read that the rotation can be reversed on these by flipping the pump body 180 degrees.

Hmmm... never thought about a dump bed.

I have seen some good videos on you tube from the manufacture showing the reversal . It was normal at one time to see stub shafts sticking out the flywheel side of the engines, pump on one end and mower deck clutch on the other end, Then with the idea of making all mower deck discharge the same way the engines where turned end for end. case ingersoll was swapped at one time and threw it into a mess of what fit what. The Farmall / International Cub was always backwards , PTO turned counter clockwise, fan blade was pitched correct but fins on gen was not. But for a dump bed a DC motor can be used with just reversing the wires on the battery.
