I agree, unfortunately I don't know any way to keep it from rolling over. I use it to move my other trailers around the yard also and have the same problem. I remember reading a post awhile back where someone found something that slips over the endlinks and keeps that from happening, but I haven't seen anything like that at TSC, etc.

if you had a clevis in there you wouldnt have to worry about it turning around, the clevis would pull in the direction the bar was strongest and whichever way it was rotated the bar would still spin to align, you just wrapped the chain around the bar im almost ceartain right?

Do these locks go on one side or both sides?

You only need it on one side. Keeps the bar from turning.
Make sure they will fit on your lower arms though. I could use it on my Yanmar, but not my NH TC18

yeah I did just wrap the chain around. I didn't have a long chain with clevis hooks. The links in the chain I used were to small to put a decent sized pin through, that's why I just wrapped it around and put a small pin in the end links of the chain.

Thanks, Inspector, that's what I've been looking for. Why wouldn't it fit the TC18?

well i wouldnt put the pin right thru the chain links, you need a clevis or a clevis or drawbar clevis hoor then ya should be fine to yank on that drawbar all ya want with that tractor.
