Do it right - build the proper attachment. It is a good, worth while project.
It will then work like Harry intended it to work!
I am still looking for any notes I may have made, as to dimensions, etc.

Merry X-mas to you and yours!

Hank

That's my intention. Still learning about this setup. I'll get busy after the holidays on the attachment.

This is what's missing - made one for a friend. Hope these pics come through.

There is a pic on page 88 of "Ford Tractor Implements" by Peterson & Beemer.

That is all I had to go by. It works very well.

Hank:
I'm looking at your 3rd photo of the attachment you made. I can see the 3 connections to the 3pt hitch on the tractor. Question: what connects to that pin on the back of your attachment?

Wow. Interesting way of making it work.

I only see my friends disk about twice a year, so have not seen my "fabrication" for some time now. However, from what I can recall, what you are referring to is the "other end" of the attachment for the arms (flatbars) for the 6 position preset depth rack. Here is a link.

Implements Forum

I welded these angled brackets (with pin) onto this hitch, because then it was complete and could be used as is. At some other time, if he would ask, I could fabricate these flatbars and notched pieces for the top link, so that he could have this "pre-set" feature also.

He was happy with the way it worked as it was, so told me not to go to the extra work to build these for him.

Hope the link works, and that I was "understandable" in my explanation. You can only see the one end of these flatbars in the link. My email is open, I think.

Maybe this is the pic you need.

Yep, that's the one. It shows pretty clearly how to hook up that 6-position adjustment link. Now I understand how that Ferguson hitch works. Plan to build one after the first of the year.

Thanks again for your help.
