Drip edge and then the cover for the facia?

And as Eddie said, there is usually another piece over the 2X4 at the end of the rafters. He said they use Hardee board in his area. In my area, 1X6 Pine is usually used and nailed over the 2X4 and all that is flashed over like the picture above.

Based on the pictures and the lack of finished/painted fascia or gable trim, or any drip-edge, it's very likely they are planning to skin the fascia and gable trim with custom-bent pre-finished aluminum. That is very common in our part of VA (I'm less than an hour from hcallaway). Especially common when vinyl siding is used, but some people do it with other sidings as well, since it's maintenance free in a location that can be hard to paint.

Normal procedure is to nail up fascia/trim backer boards with low-grade lumber, put on roofing with suitable overhangs left, then put up vinyl soffit, then come back and wrap it all with aluminum that is bent to serve as cover for fascia/trim, drip edge, and j-channel for soffit, all in one. We had this on our last house and it worked well and looked clean.

Grace weathershield, GAF water n ice. All that stuff should be applied directly to the roof sheathing as shown by the manufacture.

Also the ledger board being attached to the house with "Ledger Locks" is perfectly fine. The problem i have with what i see on the house is that i did not see any type of flashing applied before the ledger board being attached. I don't call house wrap flashing. Also when using I-joist as you did on this house in the areas of decks/balconies the rim board needs to be an LVL. If they used the regular Rim board that looks like thick osb in the area the ledger board attaches it isn't worth sh*t. The ledger locks need something good to bite into in order to work. Even if you used bolts you shouldn't rely on the osb rim board holding everything up. Usually it is shown on the print for the floor system. Those are my 2 main concerns. Oh yeah tell the roofers next time to push down on the water/ice in the valleys, no need to leave it an 1" up in the air as you can see in the picture. It doesn't work when its left up in the air it needs to be adhered to the sheathing. Sorry if i come across the wrong way i do not mean to. I am also not nit picking. But when i see something wrong i will let you know. One is a safety issue that should be corrected. The flashing should also be added. If both the things i said are in fact in place and i couldn't see it in the pictures please disregard what i said. I look forward to following your build.

Not sure if you were saying the Weather Sheild and GAF Water N Ice were applied corrrectly or not?
There was flashing applied prior to the ledger board. I did not take any pictures. It looked like a roofing type material. It was not aluminum etc...
The rim board at the screened in porch was treated 2 x 12? All the other rim boards were the same system as the engineered trusses. Material was stamped with the same company.
I cannot really comment on the 1" gap in the valleys.
I can tell you that the house is going to have siding and they will skin the facia and it will extend under the shingles.
I appreciate the comments. Some of them make me go back and give it the second, third and maybe fifth look.

Heh, don't kill yourself! You'll still find things years later. I watched our construction closely, and caught a few issues and kept many others from becoming problems. Still, quite a few things slid by me, only to be discovered as time goes on....

 Glad to hear they have those items in place. Not glad that they used a PT 2x12 as the rim board material for the porch area. Here is a brief reason why.
The rim board material is actually a hair taller than the joist themselves. They do that because the joist are made to carry floor load and the rim joist is to carry wall/roof load. They both have different psi ratings. the rim board is almost double what the joist are. Now when you use a piece of P.T. lumber as the rim board that will end shrinking alot. Most 2x12 will shrink about 1/4" in height. When that does happen you transfer load from rim board back onto your floor joist. You should always use an LVL for that application that is what its made for and doesn't shrink. Maybe you'll hear "thats how we always do it". I won't even start to respond to that. If your plan was submitted with your screened porch when it was sent out for the floor design i am almost 100% sure they call out LVL for that app. If you happen to take a look at the "floor plan" not the ones in your blue prints but the ones from the i-joist designer see what is called out in that area. No need to panic. I'll give you some ideas to fix it later.
In regards to the roofing what they were doing looked correct aside from the fact that it looks from the picture that in the transition from one roof to the other "valley" down by the drip line you can see that it is up in the air about 1" and was not pushed down into contact with the sheathing.

Nice surprise when I saw the builder had garage door openers installed. I guess they were included in his folder?

The only error was the stairwell was pretty much occupying the same space we needed for the overhead door track.
Either redo the door to a 15' width or counter sink the track into the wall of the stairwell. I think we did the right and easy thing to make it work.

Inside wall of stairwell.

Lifts are finished. Powered them up to test. Put them on the castors and rolled them into position to see how they work.
