I did do the rebar.
Just paying the bill this time. After I about killed my son and son in law with heat stroke at my daughters house, I promised to never attempt that again. Too much concrete, not enough hands, late delivery, rising temps and a bad calculation on yards, it was not pretty. My son in law did not realize when he dug out parts of the pad that 6" is not 4" and meant twice as much concrete. LOL

Heh, heat stroke is right. Last time I did concrete work, I darn near killed myself from heat and sweating too much. Was racing to finish up, and walked into my raised tractor bucket twice, leaving two nice eggs on my head. I had raised it up to hold a tarp for shade. Was one of those days where I couldn't win.

Everything is looking great!

Really nice seeing all that rebar on chairs!!! Have you thought about rounding your corners? Especially the inside corners where the path makes a T? Also that curve in the long walkway that makes a rather awkward looking bend. Did they dig down deeper where you will drive up onto the concrete and double up the rebar there? or will there be a road that is already at the height of the concrete? Did they drill into the existing slab and epoxy the rebar into it?

The apron was a separate pour. It was tied into the garage floor. I am not tying it in. We did the rounded corners up front on the aggregate walk. That will pour Tue. I did do a little heavier on the edges. Learnt a lesson on using wire mesh vs chairs. Thanks

I lost count on the yards. There were 3 mixers that delivered.

You guys get an A+ with interior styling -- love the doors, floor, and cabinet/countertops.
