Do you really need a DPCV?

Quoting the deceased comedian Brother Dave Gardner:
"Let them that don't want none, have memories of not gettin' any... let that not be their punishment, but their reward."

the ones (hydraulic outlets) on the back of my tractor are just held there by some stamped metal brackets. IE it would be much easyer/cheeper to mod the bracket than it would be to replace the whole cylinder.

(DPCV)
many say you do. many run without them. Its kinda like the chevy/ford or green/blue/orange debates

If it weren't for all the hard lines feeding the remotes and PB, I would make new brackets; but trying to tweak the snake pit would open up a whole new can of worms.

What I may do if I can't locate a compact DPCV is to run without one and see if it's really necessary. The theory behind one makes perfect sense; but theory and reality don't always coincide.

Matt, call CCM about the DPOCV's, he sold some to Rob (3RRL) to use on some of his projects...

That's a good thought Kenny. I think I may have located a local source that sells American made, at least I think they're made in USA valves.

I'll probably give them a call on Monday.
