Kubota BX2660
Stopped in for a new taillight for the BX2660 today. I planted the tractor the other day moving snow and the mailbox wound up between the rear fender and the rear blade. The taillight lost.

Almost had to wear sunglasses walking into the showroom. Man, all that orange is bright. Unfortunately, the B2620 that greeted me started making headlights at me, and shaking her lower links. Not sure how to break it to the DW that I'm in love with another. I've been thinking about making a switch, but moreover to sell my BX outright to pay off some debt, save the interest, and buy a new tractor at 0%. After talking to the salesman, I started adding things up. Folding ROPS $485, Quick Attach $290, Fork Frame $685, and the Forks $275. By the time I add freight, it'll be over $2,000. I think I'd rather put it toward a B instead of the BX.

The B2620 sitting there sure looked sweet, but there is no option for forks. I had clamp on forks for my last 7510, but they moved and the set bolts gouged and dented the bucket. I have a need for forks - especially since I don't seem to be getting any younger, and a B3200 is out of my price range and need.

So, I sit here with both brochures. Back and forth. It would have been cheaper to order the taillight from Amazon... More ways than one. :)

That happened to me last month, went in to order a part, couple days later had a very gently used RTV900XT delivered to my door. Couldn't be happier, till the next visit anyway:shocked:

Stopping at Barlows, really close to where I do some business, has kept my auto payments feature on my checking account busy. 2 contracts pay off in 2 to 3 months leaving only 2 more to run for a couple more years. Actually one of the contracts that will be paid off at the 0% interest in a couple of months is for a machine I sold last year.
With some degree of wise shopping/dealing and maintaining these Kubotas, trading isn't really as expensive as most people believe.

The Kubota quick attatch bracket for the loader (or the B3300 loader) fits directly on the LA364 loader of the b2620 or b2920. I purchased it when I had a b2920 and it works perfectly for a set of forks. Kubota and some dealers just seem to not acknowledge this fact. It has been discussed several times on this forum. I believe it also works with the standard 304 loader on the B2320.
So you can follow that come on by the 2620 if you choose!

Follow up: I still had paperwork on the quick coupler and it is part #B1658

What do you mean no option for forks for the 2620?

Pretty sure the factory bucket QA that is on my 504 loader fits the smaller B frame tractors -- at least it did 2 yrs ago when I almost bought a 2920 rather than the 3300 I have. If you can get by with fixed width forks, its cheap to build your own. I've got less than $150 into mine, including $100 to a buddy to CNC the brackets for me.

With Kubota now having a factory bucket QA option for the BX loaders, I'd be puzzled why there isn't an option for the 364 loader

I know what you mean about dealer visits. Last time I was at the NH dealer with BIL, I ended up with a new Ferris IS700Z mower and I was just along for the ride. After using it for most of last summer, I am not regretting purchasing it one bit.

Kubota build and price and brochures not show the QA for the B2620. Same for the BX2660 with the LA243 loader... Only the 243A.
I inquired on the QA for my BX2660, and although it fits, Kubota said the 243A is heavier duty and does not recommend it on the straightLA243.
I'm thinking about buying the QA for my BX2660 and using it anyway. I don't beat my tractor, and selling my set of turfs, the BXpanded forks could offset the cost well... Instead of buying a new tractor... Unless I go for a BX25D. The backhoe isn't a necessity, but it will come in hand for some trenching and stump removals.

The QA for the LA504 also fits the LA364 and Kubota makes a SSQA that will fit those loaders now too so you have lots of options for p-forks.
