Once again, I have been inspired by this forum to do something I probably never would have done had it not been for the ideas and projects of the TBN contributors. Thanks to all.

I finally gathered together enough money to have a Top-n-Tilt installed on my Mahindra 4500 4X4. This is something that has been on the old wish list ever since I saw the remote setup, Flusher (Ray), had on his, then new, 5035. 3RRL (Rob) extolled the advantages and benefits of the Top-n-Tilt in one of his always inspiring threads. I knew I had to have a Top-n-Tilt on my tractor. To be honest, at my age it isn't getting any easier to dismount, adjust the 3PH and remount.

Off we went to Bill's Tractors in Liberty Hill, Texas for the remote installation. It was kind of funny, the tractor already had one set of factory installed rear remotes on it and now there are three more. The mechanic asked me what I was going to do with all those remotes. With a big grin, I replied, "Anything I want."

Now for the hydraulic cylinders. Once more TBN came through when Elite Member, MtnViewRanch (Brian), also an approved advertiser, was contacted. Brian, imho, went the extra mile to insure that I was totally satisfied with the products he supplied. I can't say enough good things about Brian and won't even try. No one would read all of it.

Now, in keeping with true TBN tradition of, "It didn't happen unless there is a picture", how about six of them?

Like my toothbar, don't know how I managed without it.

Very nice!

Are those 2" or 2.5" cylinders?

For a few $$ more he went with 3" cylinders vs. the 2 1/2" that would normally be the std size for his tractor from Fit Rite. ;)

It looks like Weldingisfun is going to have plenty of adjustment for his boxblade.

Brian - Not to steal the thread, but what advantage would I gain on my TC35D by going with the 3" cylinders? I've got to get this done...all I'm lacking are the remote kit, your kit and time!

I was just wondering what the cost of adding the remotes/control valve (Parts and installation) cost, and what the kit goes for? I realize labor costs, in my area might be higher.

Nice job, Lee! I think you'll rapidly learn to love TnT. You'll find new uses for it for almost everything you attach to your 3PH. One of the best things is using it to hook up implements. With your control on the fender, you can get to it easily.

Lee, there's one check you want to make with your boxblade to ensure you have enough clearance. Put your scarifiers all the way down on one side or both and then run your toplink out to maximum length. Make sure that when you lift your 3PH in that position that the scarifier tips don't touch your rear tires. With my first HTL, I could over-rotate the boxblade and get the scarifiers into my tires. It may not be any danger on your tractor, but a quick check will ensure you don't ever have to worry about it.

Hopefully Lee has done that. I incude paperwork suggesting to double check full movement of implements once the hydraulic links have been installed. Never hurts to double check though.
