I dunno... orange seemed kinda of arrogant to me. :)

He messed up late in the race and got passed. However, he buckled down, persevered, and reaped the rewards. Probably had an excellent factory ride marble with lots of corporate backing. I'll bet he was signing baseball hats for hours after that race.

Interesting to see how the randomization of motion plays out over time.

Yeah. I was watching orange thinking it was all over, and then BOINK! he hit something, bounced sideways, lost his forward momentum and I think purple and yellow passed him just like that. It's fascinating!

So in race #2 I focused on orange and 'he' didn't do so good. Different track so I am guessing his crew didn't have his ball bearing right.

I'm taking the time to finish all the projects I have let slide. I'm building three new raised beds, building another work bench for the shop, replacing plugged zerk fittings on implements, replacing the injectors on my pickup, in between mowing the lawn, working up the garden, whacking weeds, cutting firewood, etc.

I have a great front projection home theater system that you can only see when the room is dark, and I installed translucent blinds. That was intentional. The days are long, and there are better things to do than watch TV. My dad used to sneak the fuse out of the back of the TV every spring, and not "fix" it until fall. If it's daylight, there are better things to do than sit around.

And we can always go fishing.

I just stopped for lunch. Maybe I'll have another cup of coffee.

You've all lost yer marbles.

When I was maybe 3 I heard my grandmother say in a loud voice to my grandfather... "Have you lost your marbles?"

I was not present in the room but clearly heard.

I just happened to have a small cloth bag with a few marbles in my room so I retrieved it upstairs and then went into the living room and offered my marbles to my Grandfather with all the adults present... their was silence and then a roar of laughter so loud it frightened me.

That story has been family lore ever since...
