Yep and the other is a J-31. These are high quality 1/40 scale metal articulating models given to me as gifts. I have a serious interest for all things state of the art and/or historical in military aviation.

Don't worry... still a strong patriot. But we need to 'know' what we are dealing with.

Ha! My dad was a WWII vet. He served in a combat engineering battalion in the south Pacific. I had quite the set of "army toys" as he'd call them. We had American, German, and Japanese soldiers and equipment. He gave me a pretty balanced view of history. We also had Volkswagens and Toyotas in our garage, as well as the Chevy's

If he brought back a Type 94 Nambu, what ever you do, don't ever try to shoot it. They are intrinsically unsafe to use.The older Type 14's are OK.

Speaking of military stuff. My Son was demolishing an old house and found this 1942 Army Mountain Troop Rucksack. It's in very good shape. Even has the Soldier's ID mark on it, J2393. First letter of last name and last four SSN.

You just reminded me, I have a "German Army Mountain Rucksack Black " ordered which shipped last month. I had completely forgotten about it but when I just checked the order status it turns out that it was shipped from the UK... it's going to be a little slower than usual getting here. :boat:

A backpack, some rope, some wire, and some toilet paper..... someone's up to no good.

I think I have a similar backpack in my basement from my uncle from WWII.

(duct tape, zip ties, and ski mask not included).

My wife & I camped a lot, then when we started our family all that got put on hold for many years. Then when the kids were old enough we pulled out our camping gear and one of the items in it was: Toilet Paper! But the kids were amazed because the roll was an inch wider than the then current rolls.

Yes, many products get labeled new and improved, but with smaller packaging and the same price.

With the Covid downtime, we printed and installed this wall graphic in our break room at the shop.
