Chipper wallenstein bx42

thinking of purchasing this wood chipper for our Kubota B7800, would we have to also purchase a shaft? new price is $2400 plus shipping, is this a good deal? any and all comments are welcome and appreciated.

I have been very happy with mine, and from what I recall, that is about as good as you will find on price. Might be able to find slightly cheaper, but most places were pretty close when I was searching.

It comes with a PTO shaft ... at least mine did. Good luck, and happy chipping!

I am very happy with my Wallenstein BX42
Well made, easy to operate, no belts to adjust and does what it says it will do.
Be sure to check with Woodwark Crossings - Fair price and good customer service.

That is a good price. I bought mine last 6/24 and pay 'lil more than that. It is a good machine with minor hiccups on mine (twig breaker gone/missing). The pto shaft is already included and only thing you needed to do is cut it if it too long for your tractor. I love the fact that it has no belts to replace. Good luck on your purchase.

Great machine. I added a pressure treated 4x4 to each side of the base to get a little more height on the machine as I am 6'-4". Note that the feed chute is hinged up in the storage position to get it into tighter storage quarters.

Do a search on here and you will find a TON of info on this chipper (mostly all GREAT). we bought one last year and it is excellent. The best implement I ever purchased!
Check out woodward Crossing out of PA - I got mine from them and they were awesome to deal with, quick shipping and helpful! I would strongly recommend them!
