I just bought a Wallenstein BX42 from Woodward Crossing and am very pleased with their service. They were very accommadating to my needs. Also am very pleased with the chipper. Works great.

Thanks for the feedback. I am looking at a couple of options for places to have it shipped locally. A local place with a dock and fork lift will save me a three + hour drive. Curious, what tractor do you use the chipper with?

Did you see this post: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/170261-picked-up-wallenstein-bx42-today.html

As the post says, I only have 19 pto hp, but it powers the bx 42 great!
I am very glad I did not get the bx 32, as the cross sectional area of the hopper in the bx32 (3 x 6 = 18 square inches) is less than half the size of the bx42 (4 x 10 = 40 square inches). This really comes in handy for oddly shaped branches. I am quite sure I could not plow through a 4 x 10" plank, but the extra size is nice for the oddly shaped branch. You definitely don't need hydraulic feed either. Good luck!
