The new laptop is running IE11 and the old desktop is running IE10.

In IE11 the ActiveX filter seems to disable JavaScript as well as I had the same problem as Bird until I unchecked it..

These are default on my wife's pc.
Ron, mine are the same except the first item "Close unused folders . . . ." is checked and "Enable flip ahead . . ." is not checked. But the ones related to scripts are the same.

I've checked everything all of you recommended, and everything shows that JavaScript IS enabled. So I reckon my next step will be to contact the credit union next week. It's odd that I get that error message on the new laptop, but not on the old desktop.:confused3:

The default setting is OFF in the W8.1 installed on my wife's pc.
Bird said his was OFF too.
I wonder why yours was "ON" as default?
