you will probable have this thing a very long time. so get what you want. chance of a major problem in first 2 years is very small and most dealers will pick up or come out to work on it.

Take a look at the specs again.....the only reason a BX23 "Looks" smaller is because of the wide, lower profile tires. The side by side specs are not very different. One thing I can assure you, if you situation ever changed, the Kubota will have a lot more re-sale value than the Kioti, whether you trade it in , or sell it yourself.

The CK20 is marginally bigger, but is rated for less power. The engines are within 1 cubic inch of each-other. The BX23 has a higher PTO HP value. The only argument I see Kioti guys using is the "Weight" value....Just because something is overbloated, does not make it "Better" yet that is the rallying cry of the Kioti faithful. In fact, with that extra 400 pounds set up so high, it would be safe to assume the unit will have a much greater propensity to tip over VS. the BX23.

Where are you getting the information that Kubota's resale value is so much better ?
I'd like to see this information for myself !! Or is this just a quess ???
Resale value seems to be the rallying cry of the Kubota faithfull !!

Well Yea, that's because the BX is set up to be an estate type piece of equipment verses the CK20 which is full fledged tractor.

Your obviously mis-informed. I'm not going to quote the specs for you but, if you check the 3 point lift capacity(which is a full category 1, not limited by height) and the FEL specs you will see the the CK20 leaves the BX in the dust....and well it should.....the BX22 is a sub-CUT and the CK20 is a Bonefide CUT. Put a BX and a CK20 in the dirt and see who spins out first.

Bufflegub(thank you Egon). There has been several posts in the Kubota forum about less than satisfied BX owners concerning the resale value, so you might as well get off that horse.

I don't even have to resort to any (like Botaguy) off-color commentary.
The facts speak for themselves. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

BotaGuy, that is the stupidiest thing I ever heard. Wake up! And specs are way off! What planet do you hail from? Geez, that is most blatant set of lies I ever seen posted here on TBN. I'll probally get in trouble for sounding off, but it's worth it if the post stays up long enough for BotaBoneHead to read it.

Geeez

Thought I would stir your soup a little so here you go:

Engine: BX 22HP CK 21HP
Displacement BX 54.8 ci CK 56.6 ci
PTO HP BX 16.7 HP CK 15.5HP
Width BX 45.1 CK 44.1
Wheelbase BX 55 CK 57.9
Front tread 35.8 same on both
3 point lift capacity BX 680 CK 1109
Weight BX 1520 CK 1993

So, I ask....what part of these MFG supplied numbers do you not understand??? Taken directly from the websites of both manufacturers....

Opinions do not convince.....just the facts please......

Where is the "Huge" "No comparison" difference????

Botaguy,

How convenient...you don't mention FEL specs. You are just trying to stir the pot. How do you expect anyone to put any credence into your posting? When your comparing apples to apples the BX can stand on its own. In this case its no comparison.

Must be a slow day at the office...... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Shoppin....so far just lip service from you...here are the specs....

BX 460 lift CK 600

A little yes........all of 140 pounds.

So where are your real reasons.????....how about the heavy high centered tractor with the same width as the svelte, wide and low terrain hugging BX23???

Actually I answered the fellows questions, and the rest of you jumped me....no biggie.

RESALE.....Hmmm... Do a search on Ebay, and see how many Kioit's recieved bids....at the same time...see how many post things like (not Kubota) to generate search results from people looking at Kubotas.
