Front-End Loader Wanted: way to quick attach and detach the FEL bucket

Does the quick attatch add about 5" between the loader pins and the attatchment ? Does the additional distance from the hinge point to the attatchment cause you to loose much lift capacity?

Yes, yes.

Actually maybe a bit less than 5" but your point is correct. It also adds about 100lbs to the front of the loader which obviously cuts lift by at that amount. Nevertheless, with my loader being rated at 1070lbs to full height at the pivot points, I can add the adapter (100lbs) and a grapple (280lbs) (minus the original bucket at about 200lbs) and still get monster sized loads of brush or a fair sized stump into the grapple and lifted to a safe height for travel and then raise it further for dumping.
