Look for approximately a 60hp, 4 x 4 Loader, rear remotes, and cab. Looking for suggestions and what it cost. Your suggestions are appreciated.

You might tell us what dealers are nearby and your budget. There are a lot of choices in with that spec.

I forgot to mention I also want Hydrostatic Trans. I have TYM, LS, Branson, Kioti, John Deere, and New Holland. I would consider up to $60 K. But I may come to my come to my senses on price.

I have 265 acres most is wooded, with 30 acres of farmland some hillside pasture fields. No longer have livestock on farm, just make hay. Need something to keep pasture fields from growing up maintaining roads and trees along the field/woods line from overtaking the fields.

Are you in good health? you want the tractor controls make it easier to use...visit has many dealers you can maybe test spin if you can.
Besides mower what other attachments...grapple,forks,back blade,.
Tire thread you're considering and will spacers be needed if tire chains are used.

Branson / TYM - their biggest HST model is 55HP. Anything bigger is either shuttle shift or Power shuttle. so that may rule them out for you.
I really like the power shuttle they make, I've driven the T654 and T754 and they are nice tractors. Deutz engines in both of those.

My MX6000 is 60hp with HST. It also is available with a cab. But you said that you don’t have Kubota nearby?

Do you have Massey? I think a Massey 2860M would be worth a look. I would seriously consider the Power Shuttle, even if you go into it thinking you want the HST, it's worth a test drive. Should fit nicely into your budget, and seems to be a heck of a nicely put together machine

The 2860M also comes in HST flavor too. Looks like cab, 4x4, loader, HST, new, is between $46k and 52k. That should run 8ft cutter

Is it safe to say you are looking for a modern, more comfortable, cabbed, HST, replacement for your FarmTrac 665DT?

Depending on what impliments you have/had on the gear Farmtrac, you might want/need more HP out of an HST, to run the same impliments. With 60 engine/52 PTO; the Massey 60hp HST is turning out 45 hp at the PTO (power shuttle does 47hp at the PTO). Most impliments will be fine, but if you were on the edge before (pto power wise), you might need to step upto a 70hp?

The dealer I got my Branson from is now a TYM and Zetor I just saw one of his ads this morning he's just trying to tempt me;
Zetor Proxima P100 for about $83,000 looks very nice, power shuttle and nice roomy cab.

The MX6000 puts out a gross 63 hp and 52 pto hp. That ought to run most implements he has.

2 years ago I bought a used 2018 Kioti RX7320 with 160 hours on it for $39,000. Cab, loader, and 3 remotes. Not hydrostatic, but shuttle with an awesome transmission. The only time you need to push the clutch in is when starting the tractor and changing ranges. Other than that, you use the shuttle to change forward/reverse and press a button on the shifter to switch gears. It will also start out in any gear that you have it in, so you rarely need to change gears if you know what you want to be in when doing whatever you intend to do. I've had zero issues with it.

OP: whatever tractor you look at, realize a spin around the dealers lot is a poor simulation of field tasks. good luck

With cab machines, pay particular attention to blind spots, and how You see, can you see bucket corners, ends of 3 point arms, outside corners of a 7 (or 8) foot rear impliment, how about upward front-left/right. Spec sheets can't really show visibility, and seeing bucket corners is important, as well as lower lift ends.

Also, with a cab, it needs to have outside fender mounted 3 point controls, or you will be in/out and cussing every time you hook up an impliment. Don't know that outside rear PTO switch matters, but I guess it's important for certain activities/impliments.

Look at the dealers in your area. Parts and service make a huge difference when looking.
