Soundguy I had intended to do that. I am actually free to do that now. They installed my door today and I will be honest and say that the installers did a very good job.

Todays 'adventure' was for some minor plumbing parts. Off to HD.They have three small elbows, but the valve? HMM the display box has about five different ones thrown in the box. I find the one that will work,and leek inside, no compression ring. None of the valves had any. So its off to Lowes.
Get to checkout. Closed. Only self-serve.
ok np . run ir all through, a few bucks.
Hold it. the clerk approches, says hello to me. I say hello back. its a neightbor I know well. She says I need an ID to use my charge acct.
Ok so this is a regular customer, used the card at HD since they iopened, the clerk know me, I have a valid card. But the policy is to check all ID's.
Well, the think is she says I know who you but its the policy. I told her I fully understood, and would go to Lowes, she chuckled and said they are loosing people due to this policy.
I am sure the local hardware store are loving this. Maybe just maybe this will be the turning point, people will again go to a friendly store with customer service.
I know there will be someone who will post that this is the way it is, Im sure they have grown up in the generation that its has been that way.
Just a tid bit of 'real' life now.

You are free to shop elsewhere, or to pay with your credit card, debit card, or cash. As long as the law states that I don't have to accept checks, I will continue to use the service and let them do what they do best. Protecting both the merchant, and the majority of the consumers that never have any problems.
1*It always seems to be that the poeple that have the biggest problems with any credit reporting service are the ones that have the biggest credit problems in life.

The check clearing place is definately wrong in my case .
I ought to know cause my bank told me so all 3 times that the check clearing place rejected my checks.
