I have a Kubota MX5100 and love the tractor. However, there are a few annoyances that I plan to address individually. I have the HST and love it except for the noise and that is something I am learning to live with and it seems to be lessening with time. Either that or I am going deaf. I made a couple of self adhesive labels on the computer with flourescent pink writing in 60 point type to help me with two problems.
1. Remember to tilt the brush guard forward before pulling the hood latch and it works great.
2. Another one just below the instrument panel that reads: BRAKE! However, I still sometimes forget until the whine from the drive lets me know what I have forgotten. I noticed that there were a couple of blank light places on the panel. I was wondering if a warning light could be installed to glow red if the brake was set. I had that on my L2900 and liked it and found it to be very useful.
Have any of you had this probably and if so, how did you address it?
