Was Kioti ever made by Kubota?

I didn't know that; I stand corrected. Thanks for enlightening me.

But my point was simply that most people realize that although many items look similar in style, shape (function does tend to dictate form), and frequently color, to include everything from washing machines to power saws to tires, they can be and are made by different manufacturers. Why then, would these same individuals turn around and think that just because they're both orange tractors, a Kioti is a Kubota?

Serves that seller right. With the repeated attempts to try and get him to simply change his description, he could have at least complied. Oh well.

Actually he did change his listing and made a note about all the emails he had gotten.But by then it was too late as he was also reported for a payment violation.

I didn't get to see the correction, but I received a reply from Kubota that they would turn over my e-mail to legal, and that the auction had been changed since my writing to them. I'm glad that's taken care of. John

His revised listing was not up very long.It went something like"I have received many emails telling me that this tractor is not made by Kobota and I have checked and I am not sure but when I bought it I was told it was" not a exact quote as I suffer from crs but it's pretty close.O well he had plenty of time to change it and refused.A quick call to a couple of kioti dealers would have cleared things up[maybe not the one he bought it from] /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Totally agree Inspector and that's what made me want to go after it any way I could. He just said that to try to cover his ignorance of the truth. John
