I have seen trees fall on the engine house of a large excavator. The owner was not impressed with his operator.

I think, if you make a habit of pushing over trees, you WILL eventually have an acident.

I致e heard you should never push trees with an excavator with the machine turned 180 degrease on the tracks because of the trees branches fall into the cab it値l push the drive levers backwards with will drive the machine farther into the tree.

This was a not very good video of how to take out a tree with an excavator. He should have been pushing with boom and crowd, not drive. Its too easy for the bucket to slip off.

It would be a lot easier if he hadn't spent 16 minutes to do a 2 minute presentation. I have to sit through that type of drawn out presentation occasionally at work; but not on my own time.

I'm not sure how people make money on Youtube. But many clearly want you to "follow them". Get all chummy. Sorry, not interested. Just FF to the thing I want to see.

Not getting into the boring details, you tube creators need actual watched minutes to maintain a good ranking.
Simple "views" is not good enough.

Mike usually has good videos. When watching I will FF to get to the meat of the subject ! If your a first time DIY tractor person then you can learn some good tips. It does take alot of your own time to make these videos. Mike got a good deal on all the 3 tractors and implements from RK to use for 3 years I think. Will be interesting to see if he gets to keep them at the end of his loaner agreement !!
