check my picture ... that's the second hat ... the mower "crowned it" - I put it back on and finished the day. The first hat didn't fare nearly as well. - tree limbs are a ***** on hats.

yep; I forgot to mention the HAT that went under the mower, I would have saved it cept I aws mowing DOWN HILL and when I clutched it the tractor picked up speed! one baseball cap became about 40 pieces in abotu 4/10ths of a second! 3 blade Rear mount finish mower and caps don't go along too well. the WORST thing that I did was run over one of the inflateable wheels of my finish mower. broke 2 blades and ruint the 3rd. on my 1st mow on the brand new mower! (arg, I had one clevis pin that wouldn't click over very well. needless to say when I drove over an OLD dead furrow the dang wheel fell off and crunch! that was a nice sick feeling. looking back to see the shreaded tire though the wheel & rim were shot the mounting fork had a slice about 1" wide and about 1/4" deep! lucky it aws probably 3/8" fork with a 1" dia shaft... anyhow I wasn't singing the happy happy joy joy song that day...

I don't know that I'd call it interesting, just very sad, but I found a horse skeleton.

We had just bought the property and it was very overgrown. When I 'hogged the back corner of a pasture, I hit the skeleton. It was just bones, no flesh, so had been there a while. Most of it was low enough, so I didn't destroy it too bad.

Gave the head to my veternarian brother in law and buried the rest. Will never know if the previous owner dragged it there or if it just made it there and was never missed.....

A pile of old burn tires... or should I say the remainings of the old tires.. I had wire wrapped around all over the blades. These must of been some big old tires. Never saw it coming in the old multaflora bushes.
