That is extremely sad Don, and I have know a couple of guys just like that...that said if they had to eat that blankety ...blank diet they would rather not be alive...and I don't think they were or are wrong...each to his own...everyone has their priorities...quantity of life to some and quality of life to others...In other words , I think the case can be made for someone to never go outside , never take any chances, take lots of vitamins and eat the perfect diet ...but funny thing is they would probably be struck by lightening or some rare disease..who knows these things...? My point is we all have to do what we feel is right for us based on all the input we get from how we feel, our docs , tests etc....and pray a lot...
The "struck by lightning" comes up a lot when comparing diet with disease and dying. I think a more fitting comparison would be grabbing hold of a downed electric wire. You got about a fifty fifty chance of being fried. My point is 1/2 of all people who die from a heart attack - that was the first symptom. You cannot go by how you feel, and when praying you may not be ready to hear the answer: "Come stay with me".

You are exactly right Don....None of us knows when the call will come but what a glorious day it will be as long as it is Jesus saying " Come stay with me " and not the Evil one....My point is ...none of us knows...we all are subject to our genes and good judgment or lack of it... We have to just keep on keepin' on and do the best we can.
