Ya got me, that's actually a tofu "steak" with some nice coloring added. :D

I think you are on to something here. The Vegans would be repulsed by your tofu steak's appearance but they are only 3% of the people. The other 97% will be potential buyers. Getting the texture just right is the biggest challenge. (But then people like chicken nuggets and their texture is not like chicken meat) The flavoring would be the same. Now we just need to come up with a catchy, masculine, tough guy name.

Yesterday I smoked another rack of ribs. Even the baby had 2 (plus she was gnawing on them off of my plate if I laid them down)...

Everyone loved it. it was almost as perfect as the last time...

Sounds like a good meal and a good time! My baby is now in collage they grow fast.

I'm making homemade chicken soup! We will get 2 days out of the pot now that the kids are not home. At one time it was just enough with no leftovers.

Swmbo is off tonight so we'll actually have dinner tonight, probably around midnight or so. I'm actually looking forward to some grilled chichen breast after all the red meat over the last week (breakin' in the new grill). This will make brin happy, I know. ;)

I'm sure the boss will dictate that some wine be served. :D

:licking: I finally bought a rib "rack" thingamajig for the oven/grill, so there will be some ribs in my near future. (sorry brin/Bob).

I've had good luck baking 'em for 3-4 hours at around 250 deg....yum.
