I buy hoses that are quality and will last for 10 years + if mounted on a hose reel. The ones that I drag across my driveway to the garden and then drive over them (including FedEx, USPS, and UPS trucks) will sometimes split or get a pinhole. A straight brass clamp-on fitting normally seals those hoses for many years. Now, if I could just get soaker hoses to quit bustin' prematurely. . . :confused2:
