Tires water in tire question

/ water in tire question #31
You can also fill a bottle (that can hold tire inflation pressure) fill it with antifreeze and attach it to your tire, held upside down. Then attach the air compresor to it, with an air hose port on top of the bottle. Because the water is heavier than the air /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif it will stay at the bottom of the bottle and leave through the low port into your tire when the compressed air forces in.
Kinda like a vacuum manure tanker idea /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I do not use tire ballast because it increases the fuel consumption on all the other jobs where the extra weight isnt needed.

I do use a big 2 meter earth scoop as 3pt hitch ballast when doing heavy work with the front loader. Because the center of gravity of this +/- 1500 kg of 3pt hitch ballast is behind the rear axle, it even unloads the front axle for about 750 kg making its life a little easier /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
