Kubota don't recommend extended life and all Kubota engines are dry linered anyway, so no need for extended life (global) antifreeze..

Engines without wet liners can have cylinder wall hole problems. I wonder what separates Kubota engines from other engine manufacturers with parent bore engines including automobiles/trucks that have had cylinder wall cavitation due to electrolysis? I've owned a Ford 6700 tractor for several yrs that had a new crate engine installed prior to my purchasing of the tractor because of a hole in engine cylinder wall on original engine due to electrolysis.

I guess you should concentrate on the location and position of the valves. If they aren't in the exact spot they need to be, you'll encounter more problems than this. All I know is... I know of someone who installed a cheaper Chinese made water pump on their Kubota and the impeller ate into the inner section (back section) and they had to replace it (big job) and bought the second one from their Kubota dealer (plus the bac section / timing cover which is made with the timing cover. Me, I've never had a rad issue with either of mine and I always add a bottle Ford Anti-cavitation solution when I change my AF. 6000+ hours on mine.
